Opened in 1994, this challenging 18-hole course is located in the heart of an indigenous forest and set alongside one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. Designed by South African champion Hugh Baiocchi, the 72-par course is built to USPGA specifications and plays host to the MCB Tour Championship. Fairways are largely broad and generous, although water hazards threaten many of the holes. And if you’re looking to scrub up your swing, lessons are available with their resident golf pros. Measuring 6,018 metres in length, nature lovers can also spot herds of Java deer on this course. Once the game’s over, make time to relax with a glass of something cool on the sun-bleached sands.
