The collection has 8000 specimens from 1500 species across the planet. It’s the life’s work of a passionate Mauritian conchophile who inherited it from his parents.

You can learn about their uses throughout history both by humans and the creatures that once inhabited them. Little explorers can design their own shells at the mini children’s laboratory, too.
