Fun Day at La Ferme, Bambous – 8th December 2018

The National Young Adults Wing together with the Education Wing organized a Fun Day for the SSEHV students of La Ferme Bambous on the 8th December 2018.
64 children aged 4 to 15 participated in the activities organized. Some 30 young adults gave their full support and took the different responsibilities. They were helped by 12 SSEHV teachers from the Education Wing. Many devotees also turned up to give their help.
The Ministry of Youth had graciously offered the “Children Football Ground” as venue. They also provided chairs, tables and other logistics
The event started at 9 am with a short parade by all the participants. This was followed by National Anthem. Then the fun and the value based activities started.
The fun activities consisted of relay, sack races and other races. Participants also enjoyed the value games such as “Save Water”, “Save Food” and “Use the bin” contests.
There were also some ongoing activities such as an obstacle race titled ¨Life is a Challenge, Meet it” and corner fun activities such as value dart game and face painting.
The event closed with “4 Aside football” by the teens boys
Juice and snacks were served all through the event
Well-wishers offered the Medals, trophies and bottles of water
The event was enhanced by the presence of two entertaining clowns. Everybody enjoyed that special day.
The festivities concluded with the award ceremony where all participants received medals and trophies.
