Aradhana Mahotsavam observed by the Sathya Sai International Organisation as the Human Values Day, is the day whereby our Beloved Master Bhagawan Shri Sathya Sai Baba moved on from the physical plane of existence to become the omnipresent all-pervading reality. As such, the Grand-Port Regional Committee organised a tribute and devotional programme to solemnly express gratitude and reverence for the unconditional love that the Ultimate Divine has showered on us.

The tribute programme was held at the Sathya Sai Centre of Beau-Vallon. The focus of the programme was to inspire devotees to intensify their spiritual sadhana by living their lives to Swami’s words and remembering His teachings of the five main human values of Sathya(Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanti (Peace), Prema (Love) and Ahimsa (Non-Violence).; His Love and Blessings that
touched the whole of humanity.

The programme started at 6.00 p.m with opening prayers and a series of soulful bhajans led by the Regional Devotional Coordinator Sis Roshni Bhootooa , Regional SSE teachers and SSE students of the region as well. Sai devotees of the region and the Ladies Wing also participated in the devotional programme. The event was also graced by the presence of National Council members.

The musical arrangement of the event was taken care by the Sai Orchestra group of Sathya Sai Centre of Petit Bel-Air. The message of Dr Narendranath Reddy, Chairman of Prashanti Council, on the occasion of Aradhana Mahotsavam was also shared with devotees present . This message was conveyed by Sis Ourvashi and the focus of the SSIO this year in line with the Universal message of our Dear Master was to observe the oneness of God, Man and Nature.The programme moved on to the launch of SSE G4 Classes for the Region of Grand-Port, a landmark project for the SSIOM. An overview of the SSE G4 Classes was delivered by Sis Madvi Maghoo who is a member of the G4 Transition YA Subcommittee and also team lead of the project at National level. The SSE G4 classes will focus on the teaching of Sathya Sai Education in HumanValues to teenagers from the age of 15 to 17 years old and is regarded today in our society as an important upliftment programme for youngsters. A material pack for the SSE G4 class was also gifted to all the participants of the G4 SSE classes as a token of love. The tribute programme also consisted of a magnificent on-stage sketch by regional Sai devotees and SSE students on the theme of namasmarana. The programme ended with the address of National President, Brother Rajendranath Sham; National Education Coordinator, Sis Vidula Rahiman; Regional President, Brother Raghoo and Regional Devotional Coordinator, Sis Roshni Bhootooa. The programme ended with an auspicious mangala aarti to our Beloved Lord.

Around 350 devotees attended this tribute event and mahaprasad was also offered on this occasion.
